As I grow older, I reflect on how I have learned my culture.
I look back on the good times for the most part,
but I have to remember the bad too.
My relationship with my sister was hard, I have always wondered why?
My relationships with my "Sister Friends" are deeply connected, respectful, loving.
I have wondered why one over the other..........
So, I say to myself, understand yourself better, open your mind and soul.
The Creator will bestow a sense of peace, acceptance and tolerance,
in this gathering of women, you call family.
